I am wondering why people who experience paranormal happenings do not come forward more often. Because society stamps them with an unpleasant label? Maybe the reaction from the family – because my take on it is that in most cases, the family history or specific sensitivities or an extra inherited sense get them closer to the (otherwise) unseen phenomena. Or, maybe, because they think it is just a chemistry in the brain. Considering what I had to endure, it must be all around us. Welcome to my weird life where dreams and day-to-day activities had the same creatures interacting with me. |
Cruise to Alaska - 2004
We started the cruise in Vancouver, Canada
Juneau - Almost top of Roberts Mountain.
We took the cable to about 1800 ft (550 m) from downtown Juneau up on Mount Roberts. The rest was on foot, to more than 3800 ft (1160 m).
The landscape gave me a strange feeling. It was austere but, at the same time, rich. And the refreshing cold air, but blessed with sun rays, was indeed unique.

Juneau - Going down from Mount Roberts
There was no one around and strong winds; we were afraid of falling into a ditch, and no one could find us. So we returned, even if the cruise was to set sails at 10 PM, and we had plenty of time.

That was the last adventure in Alaska’s capital.
Ketchikan - did some snorkeling, water at 16 Celsius. Manu did not want to have the weights to keep her underwater all the time (the body is warmer from the water heated by the body) and got sick the next day.

I gave up swimming because there were lots of dead salmons, that’s nature. I read more about their cycle in life and found how nature finds ways to progress; salmon dead bodies create an environment helping their offspring to survive.
